How do you determine a
fee for a coaching session?

Naturally, coaches have to make a living, hence why there is a COST to coaching.

What if you look at VALUE of coaching, instead of the monetary COST of coaching? A few examples of considering VALUE vs COST: when you buy a book, do you look at what it COST you, or at the VALUE you derive from the knowledge, wisdom, or creative expression of the author? When you go on a holiday, do you remember the COST, or the VALUE: the memories, the experience, the smell, the touch? When you entertain friends and family, do you look at the COST of the event, or do you remember the friendship, the shared stories, the love, the laughter?

The same with coaching and mentoring. Yes, there is a COST involved (after all - coaches need to charge a fee for their time, qualifications, and experience). The more important question though, is: what is the VALUE you will derive from a coaching and/or mentoring session or sessions? If you merely think about it as a one-hour event that is going to COST you a certain amount of money, then coaching is probably not for you. However, if you are serious about personal growth and development - even life-changing transformation - then the return-on-investment can be immeasurable. There is the potential to gain much more VALUE from coaching than the mere monetary COST of it.

So yes, I do charge a fee for my time. I'm not the most expensive, but certainly also not the cheapest. There is VALUE in my training, my qualifications, my knowledge, my experience, and my hard-earned learnings (through trials and tribulations). And I'm convinced that, through our interaction with one another, you will gain a lot more VALUE than the monetary COST of the interaction.

If you think coaching is for you, then let's have a discovery session where we can explore your specific requirements, and also talk about the COST of future sessions.
